KSTP TV Twin Cities, MN - Candy Coburn and Massage Envy

Candy Coburn and Gary Meyers from Massage Envy are interviewed by the KSTP television station in Twin Cities, Minnesota on 8/22/2010 to talk about Massage for the Cure in September. Candy appeared for an acoustic show at the Blaine, MN Massage Envy to help promote the event. Candy acts as an ambassador for Susan G. Komen for the Cure through her "Pink Warrior" song, and from the stage when she takes her country rock show across the USA.

"Country singer Candy Coburn (pictured, right, with Carol), wearing the best shoes of the night — suede, fuchsia platforms with zippers — posed gamely in front of the VP’s house before heading back to her hotel room for the evening. “I’ve got to get up at 6!” to join Jill Biden, Komen’s founder and CEO Nancy Brinker, and 40,000 others for the 5K run around the Washington mall, Coburn said. Afterward, Coburn performed her new single, Pink Warrior, to the crowd. She’s donating all of the royalties to the cause."

Candy in IndyCar Star Sarah Fisher's New Book

A second live musical performance will mark Kentucky Oaks Day when country music singer and Kentucky native Candy Coburn performs “Pink Warrior,” a song dedicated to breast cancer survivors, live during the Kentucky Oaks Survivors Parade, scheduled to take place prior to the Kentucky Oaks race. Coburn...will serenade the 136-plus breast cancer survivors and their co-survivors as they make the trek around Churchill Downs’ storied first turn and past tens of thousand of cheering fans cheering in the Churchill Downs clubhouse and grandstand.
